Research On The Report Strategy Of Community Newspaper

The emergence and development of the Internet have not only brought the revolution of information dissemination, but also changed the history and pattern of the development of the media, which makes the traditional media face an unprecedented sense of crisis. As a result, the development of Community newspaper in western countries has attracted the attention of domestic newspapers, and they try to regard the community newspaper as a new way to seek self-development in the new media environment. In recent years, many areas of our country have begun to establish their community newspapers. Anhui also established the province’s first community newspaper-"Hefei Evening News" community newspaper in 2013.This study takes the "Hefei Evening News" community newspaper as an example, and focuses on the community newspaper’s reporting strategy. First of all, it makes a simple analysis of its development status, the report concept and so on. And then it analyzes of the report pattern of community newspaper in practical term. Finally, the present study will discuss some limitations considering the report pattern of community newspaper and put forward some feasible strategies and methods.The following is the detailed introduction of the content and ideas of the present study:The introduction part is a brief introduction to the source of the topic selection, research significance, research methods and the main contents of this paper, as well as a brief review of the literature review related to this study.The first chapter simply introduces the development of community at home and abroad, which severs as a role of providing background support for the study. At the same time, it makes a corresponding introduction about the development situation of the "Hefei evening news" community newspaper.In the second chapter, the paper mainly discusses the concept and the function of the community newspaper by the method of investigation and interview. The foundation of the proceeding of the present study lies in that the concept and function of the community newspaper have certain influence on reporting practices, which includes the selection, interviewing and writing, editing and some other aspects of news topics.The third chapter mainly analyzes the reporting practices of the "Hefei Evening News" through the methods of interview, observation, and the analysis of the content of community newspaper.In the first section, the paper introduces the mechanism and the staff of the community newspaper, which serves as an illustration of the reasons and background of its reporting practices. The second section is about the exposition of the concrete reporting practices of "Hefei Evening News", including an analysis of the characteristics of selected-topics,interviews, writing and editing as well as the manifestation of these characteristics in the report. The third section selects some reporting samples from the "Hefei Evening News" community newspaper and analyzes its report topic, genre and style respectively.The last chapter is a conclusive summary which includes three parts. The first part is the summary of the plight and limitations of the news reports of "Hefei Evening News" community newspaper; The second part explores objectively and subjectively the causes of this dilemma; At last, this paper puts forward some strategies and suggestions on the feasibility of community newspaper in reporting practice.
