Design And Implementation Of Real-time Monitoring System For Tweets Advertising

Weibo Ads, created by Twitter, is a type of advertisement which present advertisement as Tweet for users to read without interupting users’ reading continuity. Therefore users can find Weibo Ads in their Timeline in Weibo homepage. Weibo Ads is th e main type of advertisement offer by Weibo advertising platform. The platform consists of advertisem ent creation, advertisement examination, advertisement database m anagement, advertisement placing, cont rolment policies, real-time chargement and anti-cheating operation, logging system, data statistics and monitoring system. I was res ponsible to design and deve lop the monitoring system, which stood in the end of the whole data flow of the platform.The monitoring system shows data in web pages based on LAMP architecture scheme(Linux-Apache-My SQL-PHP), and updates data through PHP programs and Shell script. I applied a novel data proposal to automatic update data step by step according to timestamp, monitor data and put out warning when encountering illegal data. Based on the data proposal, I achieved data page display configurable. This system offers advertising query, advertisers query, advertisers label m anagement, data statistics, data analysis, data download and data monitoring. Besides, the system also offer order state changement(online or offline), strategy analysis, user analysis, public announcement management, directional distribution query, diagnostic tools, and other functions.After practising, the m onitoring system meets the demand of all kinds of data, act as an essential part of Weibo advertisement platform and an important element of advertising effect chain(including advert isement creation, advertisem ent placing, advertisement monitoring, result evaluation and result optimization). The system is the major auxiliary tool for product manager, product operation agent and developer to keep the Weibo advertising platform health.
