With the development of wireless sensor network, energy supply of wireless sensor network node has come into focus of attention. It is a very effective solution for wireless sensor network to collect electromagnetic wave energy from the surrounding environment of the sensor. In this paper, was designed a set of radio frequency electromagnetic energy harvesting device, including a four element antenna array and a filter rectifier circuit. The main work includes:1. Radiation element of the antenna is manufactured using rectangular patch with a side feed, it has a simple structure, easy processing and low cost.2. Design of four receiving antenna element array improves the gain and also can adjust the width of the main lobe by adjusting the spacing between the antenna unit, increasing the sensitivity of receiving antenna on the direction.3. Design of rectifier circuit suppresses harmonics generated by a nonlinear diode at both ends of the diode through the way of adding the low pass filter on the front end of the rectifier diode, which greatly improves the efficiency of diode rectifier. The quarter wavelength transmission line of the filters and the shunt stub can regulator diodes in optimal operating point, reducing resonant offset caused by the machining error. So, it improved the work performance of the rectifier circuit.4. Each functional module is designed, simulated, fabricated and tested. Finally, the whole system is configured, and the electromagnetic wave energy is collected, and the LED lamp of rectifier circuit light up.
