Empiricalresearchof The Construction Of Domain Ontology On Subject Services

Subject service is user-centric, subject librarian for the service in themain, as a mean to knowledge service, with a certain degree of technical tools to provide professional, knowledgeable service to users. Subjectlibrarianprovide academic knowledge for theusers primarily based on professional database, subject knowledge resources with normative concepts, knowledge sharing, in the form of diversity, academic relevance and other characteristics. But professional database is mainly based on traditional keyword search, which led to search results are often just a literal match, and subject experts are often required knowledge and concepts behind the glyph shape represented. Ontology has a good concept hierarchy and support for the logical reasoning, can be used as the basis of semantic retrieval, we use ontology technology to enhance satisfaction of existing database retrieval, improve quality of subject service. Experiments show that this search method for recall, precision rate has improved to some extent.Contents of this paper are mainly the following aspects:(1)Investigate and analyze of subject service patternWith the rapid development of computer technology, many new ideas, new technology has also been applied to subject service, analysis of the status about subject service theoryresearch and practice at home and abroad, pointing out deficiencies, including the lack of amethod which academic literature can be retrieved at the semantic level. On this basis, introduces the tool which can describe literature resources on the semantic and knowledge level-ontology and make use of ontology technology to improve quality of the subject service method to retrieve literature resources.(2)Research of construction of vegetables disciplinary ontologyOntology is the foundation to resolve semantic retrieval; build subject serviceontology requires a lot of data to support, and these data also need to be processed, finishing becomes a relationship concepts needed to build ontology. In this study, a series of natural language processing methods to collate vegetable literaturebecome property relations and conceptual level structured data, and use ontology tools to achieve the construction and visualization of vegetable discipline domain ontology.(3)Research of semantic retrieval based on vegetable discipline ontologyThrough the semantic parsing about the vegetable discipline ontology, design and develop a semantic search model based on ontology. Get user input keywords, and use Jena to parse the relationship between keywords and the words in the ontology database, then the acquired data is matched with the literature database and the results back to the user. Finally, testing this experimental system, the results show that the query results to the surface better than traditional keyword-based search method.Ontology project is complex and long-term, restricted by human resource and time, this article is quite limited; the development of the system is still in the experimental stage of exploration. For applying ontology technology to the subject service, building intelligent retrieval system based on vegetable and other subject, and having further expanding the content of the system can be seem as future expanded research directions about subject service works.
