With its various advantages of OFDM technology has become a magnet of 4G technology and research.But in OFDM system, due to inherent defects in OFDM systems with high peak- average power ratio (PAPR), which is one of the most unfavorable factors in OFDM system, as a result, reducing the PAPR technology research is very important.In recent years, researches on reducing the PAPR to the many achievements, they are mainly focused on the improvement of a particular technology, but the combination of several technologies, few studies carried out each other.The main contents of this article:OFDM system outlined some of the key technologies. Summarizes some of the major traditional technology PAPR reduction.Considering the clipping technique causes band radiation, and a scrambling technique Partial Transmit Sequence technology does not have this problem, and therefore the limiter and the technical part of the transmission sequence used in combination. In this paper, the use of technology to make up for the lack of PTS limiter technology will combine the two, proposed an improved clipping -PTS technology to achieve a better PAPR smaller effect.To improve the performance of technologies do MTLAB simulation analysis, and gives the performance comparison with the traditional single technology. MATLAB simulation results show that both the improved technology of BER and CCDF indicators are better. Study for reducing the PAPR of mature technology and practical application, to provide a more valuable reference.
