With the continuous development of the automation level, the industry has a higher demand for the reliability of the automation system. The reliability of the key parts in the system is especially the focused problem in the application field. Therefore, it becomes a hot focus on how to improve the stability of a system, especially on the key part of a system.In the aspect of reliability design, fault-tolerant design is an effective method for improving the reliability of key parts. This thesis is based on the technical means, aiming at the actual task need, to develop and imply the dual controller redundancy. The main work of the paper is as follows:According to the task requirement, accomplish the task requirement analysis and the overall design. Propose a dual controller redundancy design scheme with dual CPU, dual interface module, and to select the core chip at the same time. Based on the overall design scheme, to accomplish he hardware design of dual controller redundancy. Including the design of controller circuit, interface module circuit, the analog of fault and alarm circuit design and related peripheral circuit design, etc. According to the hardware structure features of the design of dual controller redundancy, the working principle of the system is described, and software is designed. The program of data synchronization, interface module and fault diagnosis and processing design are included.Construct the test platform, an according to the task, to perform the function test and the fault simulation test of this system. The function tests mainly include the voltage signal output test, etc. The fault simulation test includes the power test, the controller failure test, the interface module failure test, etc. based on these tests, the possible additional faults of this design are analyzed. The test results show that the dual redundancy system designed in this paper can achieve the autonomous switching function when the main control system fails, and meet the task requirements.
