Research On The Cableway Wire Rope Detection Algorithm Based On Visual Information

Ropeway,a common way of air transport, is also called a cable car. It is widely used in passenger, cargo and all kinds of industrial occasions. With the gradually wide application of cableway system, its security problem has become a focus. In the various safety systems of cableway, rope detachment safety device is directly related to the personnel and cargo security of cable car transport and has beco me a hotspot in research of cableway safety.Among various kinds of safety detection methods, the detection method of rope detachment based on video information, gets relevant researchers attention for its low cost of construction, strong scalability, easy maintenance and others advantages. In the detection method of rope detachment based on video information, the operation of the cable wire positioning is one of the key steps, its detection effect is directly related to the accuracy of rope detachment safety inspection information. In this paper, i.e., according to the visual information, we need to research the feasibility of the cable wire rope detection scheme in the case of work.Firstly, improve the needs of the existing equipment according to the basic condition of cableway operation, refining the basic and systemic composition of rope-divorced-detection system and analysis the overall flow chart of systemic operation.Secondly, preprocessing the collected video information in order to filter the interference information and protuberant the wire rope area in the video, make the preparation of data for the detection wire rope. This paper use the ropeway field collection of surveillance video to confirm and analysis the pretreatment method of ropeway wire rope inspection which is still in the conceptual phase, find out the analysis of the effect of different kinds of pretreatment used in the field of cableway operation and promote the practical application of video security detection of cableway.Finally, making use of two kinds of straight line detection in digital image processing to finish the positioning of the wire rope in the video. According to different pretreatment scheme and linear detection scheme, testing the feasibility of different schemes, analyzing the causes of the formation of positioning error. Testing the degree of improvement of positioning effect under the human-computer interaction cases, to provide direction for wire rope positioning of the improvement.
