A Research On Zou Taofen’s Public Opinion Thoughts

Zou Taofen is a famous journalist and editor in China. During his short life, he had edited seven publications and left abundant works. He worked ha rd and perseveringly, the spirit of selfless dedication and patriotism has always been praised for posterity. By reading his articles, we can find that the development process of his thoughts and also find his main thoughts naturally. This is what the previous studies have unnoticed.In the long-term press practice and restless thinking, Zou Taofen has formed relatively complete public opinion thoughts. This paper regarded his public opinion thoughts as the main research object, using literature research method and case study method as the main research methods, the author studies attentively "Taofen collection", "Anthology of Taofen’s Press and publication articles " first hand literature and so on, reads a lot of books, academic papers and articles and other information related with this study, analysis the causes and effects of his thoughts of public opinion. This paper starting from the practice and the background of the formation of his public opinion, analysis the historical reasons and individual reasons of his thoughts formation, and summarize the main contents of the thoughts of public opinion: by the independent spirit of justice to ensure that public opinion is impartial;the task of public authorities; the power of public opinion and the origin of this power;should have the legal protecting the freedom of speech. In the process of analysis his thoughts formation background, practice basics and the main contents of public opinion, the author tries to take the historical environment as the background, to ensure that the breadth and depth of analysis. In the last, the paper places Taofen’s thoughts of public opinion in the contemporary era background, explores its inspiration for today’s society.
