Interactive Interface Design Research Of Social Mobile Application Software For The Urban Elderly

Along with the development of Internet, the society has gradually become more intelligent, and great changes have taken place in people’s social patterns. Social applications let friends contact more closely. But now the application market is mainly designed for young people, and lacks of the design for the older population. The applications are not easy to use, in many cases, letting the elderly people feel frustrated. The lives of many elderly people are single and lack of communication, causing a lot of physical and mental problems, so they eager to interact with the society. Now in the mobile market, mobile phones and tablets are the main products, especially tablets are more suitable for the elderly, because they have large screen and easy to operate. So in the design practice part of the research, tablet is taken as the carrier to study the interactive interface design of social mobile application software, and try to look for design principles for the elderly.The research deeply analyzes the interface, social networks and the characteristics of the elderly users, and takes user-centered theory as the breakthrough point, building the design framework of the elderly social mobile application software, then applies the framework to the practice of design. Finally, the research summarizes the interactive interface design principles of elderly social mobile application software through combining with the theory, research and practice data, which aims to rich and convenient elderly people’s social life, and provide certain reference for future design research.
