With the development of computer networksand continuous improvement of wireless technology, wireless local area network(Wireless Local Area Networks, referred WLAN) has been used in all aspects of human social life especiallyin the field of aerospace. In 2008, the American Society of Automotive Engineers published the ARINC specification 822 which define that the ground communication network system uses IEEE 802.11 protocol to transmit data through network.With the rapid development of the aviation industry, aviation networks has becoming more and more complex, a significant growth in air traffic has brought great pressure to the aeronautical communications network, and because of the special nature of space communications, it has higherrequirements on network delay, transmission rate and reliability of communication, the reliability and stability of the network characteristics of the communication network facing a higher challenge. The slower data transmission in wireless network, and weak anti-interference ability has certain side effect on WLAN performance, the monitor of the performance of aeronautical communications network is particularly necessary. The data monitoring and performance analysis of aerospace communications network provide an improved basis to build better communications network and better service. Currently in the field ofaeronautical communications, mainly using a vector network analyzer to monitor the inherent properties of the device itself such as the main frequency of the signal and the quality and performance of the signal, and also provide a measure of the transmission parameters of the actual communication network, the network performance for the Air support the monitoring and analysis is far to reachthe user’srequirements, so the design of a communications network to support aeronautical data monitoring and analysis of network performance monitoring system is extremely urgent.For the above, this paper describes the development of aeronautical communications network monitoring and performance analysis and research achievements in network monitoring, followed by a brief analysis of the infrastructure of open source network monitoring software system wireshark, finally describes network monitoring and the realization of the principles of performance analysis software and technology. Then, based on analysis of the current network monitoring system, points out its limitations and shortcomings for wireless network detection, then combine with design requirements machine to a wireless communication network simulation and performance evaluation software, propose solutions. In this paper, using BPF filtering mechanism to achieve a wireless packet capture for wireless packet capture and filtering, and access to relevant information in the field on the basis of protocol analysis, process the data, get the value of the network parameters, complete network performance analysis. Finally test the system, first test the capture of wireless data packet, then run the system in four different scenarios for the test of network performance of the wireless communication network, display the network throughput and delay network parameter information.
