The vigorous development from mobile Internet leads the high demand of people to large data, broadband, and high load, while telecom enterprises should face to the challenge of telecommunications, marketization and differentiation. At present, because of the survival and development environment that the domestic telecom operators are facing to have changed sharply, and not only the market saturation ascension causes homogeneous competition more competitive between each other, but also the Internet and other heterogeneous substitution is becoming more serious, so the major telecom operators have felt the pressure never before.According to the market development trend of domestic telecom operators now, telecommunications business data, IP and diversification are the key points in the development. Being the basic of whole network, transmission bearer network needs further enhencements on reliability and stability, and be able to carry out business scheduling quickly and flexibly and improve the convenience of network maintenance.In order to complete the construction work of transmission bearer network, from the business development needs, to support and guide role for key projects, I have started to compile 2014-2016 transmission bearer network rolling plan.This thesis unfold mainly from the following parts:1.Introduce the importance of the planning and construction of transmission bearer network as the basic network of telecom enterprises to the telecom enterprise development.2.Plan and research the Jiangsu Telecom of N City by analsing the business development needs and problems firstly, and the transmission bearer network according to the business development secondly(including wired access network, carrying network, relay optical network and optical cable pipeline). And find out the problems in the network finally through collecting the data and information, and through communicating with the telecommunications professional management personnelly whick can exchange the current network structure, and operation situation,.3.Through the available resources upon, research the development trend adapt to prefecture-level city’s telecom network, and formulate the development strategy in the planning period and provide principled guidance for the network planning divided into four sections(wired a ccess network, carrying network, relay cable network and cable duct)4.Formulate construction scheme in the planning period. The actual plan includes four schemes of cable access network construction, carrying network, relay cable network and cable duct individually.5.Investment estimation for three years of construction project investment reasonable to each year, as the investment plan.
