With the development of e-commerce, the logistics will need to be high. And the air cargo occupies more market share by the absolute advantage of its speed.Today, while the continuous development of information technology, informatization has become the only way for modern logistics development. At the same time, the logistics informatization is the necessary condition of e-commerce development. The informationization of our country’s cargo industry has entered a stage of rapid development. However, compared with foreign cargo industry, the level of informationization in our cargo industry is still low. Inaccurate positioning, unified standard for the cargo systems are the main reasons. In order to enhance the competitiveness of domestic air cargo industry and provide efficient logistics service, it is significant to design a set of air cargo management system using modern information technology.Combine the process of air cargo industry and current management situation, we have designed and implemented a set of air cargo management system. The system uses three-layer C/S mode. It is divided into two parts: client system and backend server. The client system is responsible for dealing with the business presentation layer of the air cargo management system which can implement human-computer interaction. The backend server is mainly responsible for providing service for the client. While implementing the system, we choose C# programming language, WinForm application framework technology, ADO.NET technology and three-layer C/S architecture. The database system choose Microsoft SQL Server 2005. In this thesis, firstly, consult the related literature and data, analysis the present research progress of the system, clear the requirements, the design direction and technical direction of the system. Then according to the design ideas, make the detailed design of the system. The system can be divided into 4 modules: logistics information management module, air waybill management module, financial management module and basic data management module. Clear the process of each module and analysis each entity and the relationship between entities. Then implement the system by coding according to the detailed design and debug and pass.Finally, test the performance and functions of the system. Find the loopholes in the system and correct them until the system satisfies the requirement of online.This system has realizes a highly digital air cargo management system which can manage all the receipts and data that involves in the system. In addition, the system provide storage, analysis, query, print interfaces to relevant person which make it convenient to operation. The system can not only improve the efficiency of air cargo, but also it can make the whole process of air cargo more orderly. At the same time, the cost of the enterprise’s operation can greatly reduced and the profits can improve more.
