Design And Implementation Of A Video Image Information Management System For Criminal Cases

As clues and evidences for criminal case detection, video images have been largely used in Public Security Business Application System(PSBAS for short). It is a key problem that how to use the digital image and digital signal processing technology as the means of analysis on criminal cases and how to integrate the digital video images with PSBAS. In that background, I do the intensive research to achieve the relation management between public security cases and video images, simultaneously to supply information management means for video detection.This thesis introduces the course of analysis, design, realization and test for the information management system of criminal case video image(IMSCVI). It describes the analysis course of video image applied in the actual operation on criminal cases to set up the related UML model, then it presents the design of system application using the SSH frame on the basis of J2 EE architecture to achieve the module functions of alarm information management, statistical analysis of alarm information, criminal case online-processing, concurrent criminal cases and case in series management, statistical analysis of criminal cases. The first module above can realize the registration and processing of criminal cases in our society; the second module can achieve warning analysis, multi-occurred alarm district analysis and synthesized statistical analysis of alarm; the third module can mainly complete criminal cases registration, criminal cases maintenance, criminal cases examination and review; the fourth module can make comprehensive analysis between case and searching for the clues for detection; the fifth module mainly realize analysis of cases registration and cases integrative statistics; moreover, the IMSCVI includes other function modules such as system configuration and authority management. This thesis discusses the development process of IMSCVI in details depending on the theory of software engineering. Firstly it sets up the UML model for the whole course from business analysis to system design and analyze the users’ demands and business process; secondly it shows the design for overall architecture and database, states the realization course of each function module in great detail and display the key codes together with impression drawing. At last, this thesis introduces the system test solution which can satisfy with the users’ demands through examining the actual examples to verify the system function and performance.IMSCVI which is more innovative compared with other similar systems has been used in the cities’ security construction programs using monitor and other supervisory appliance. All practice prove that the usage of this system play an important role in supporting the public security management and procession as well as improving the efficiency of public security video investigation.
