With the arrival of the Network Information Age, the traditional policing model will face many challenges. Online investigation through electronic networking, polices eliminate temporal and spatial distance, achieves a bilateral exchanges, multi-anytime interaction. The paper, through the analysis of the current law enforcement investigation of the XX Municipal Public Security Bureau combining with the actual demand combined, presents the research and analysis of online law enforcement investigators (criminal) system in XX Municipal Public Security Bureau.The paper introduces the background of online law enforcement investigators (criminal) system, the project significant and the current research and application in XX Municipal Public Security Bureau. For business analysis, the paper discusses the disadvantage of the system, the organization and the original business processes, presents the new business processes after reform. For functional analysis, fthe paper defined the function of the system, showing the overall function of the package diagram and subroutine package diagram including alarm handling, case handling, involved personnel management, involving materials management, audit approval, information inquiry and system management sub-package diagram by use of the analysis and description of the example. For the data analysis, the paper through analyzing the necessary data handling by the functions of each section of system, presented the entity relationship diagram and the database table structure was established. The last section makes a conclusion of the the research and analysis and puts forward the future of the further working.
