The ARM control module which is designed in the subject is the core Control Module of experiment platform, the design architecture of system is ARM + FPGA + embedded linux system. The research contents is ARM master module hardware and system software design, mainly to complete the design of ARM control module peripheral system circuit, the hardware design of interface adapter features, the software design of ARM-Linux system and the design of interface communication program, and the specific content as follows:1. The design of control module peripheral system circuit: According to the design structure of embedded hardware circuit, the design of control module external system circuit is completed. Which includes, the data acquisition circuit, the serial interface circuit, the memory cell circuit and the unit circuit and so on.2. The hardware design of interface adapter features: Ethernet interface adapter functions through the USB interface to Ethernet interface to achieve; GPIB interface adapter functions through the Ethernet interface to GPIB interface to be implemented. The interface adapter function is ARM control module’s extensions section.3. The software design of ARM-Linux system: It is mainly divided into Uboot transplantation, system kernel transplantation and constructed root file system. Which, Uboot mainly to complete the hardware device initialization, memory mapping and establish system hardware and software environment, ready to call the system kernel; the system kernel which is streamlined can allow the system to run faster; the root file system can manage external devices and achieve system call.4. The design of interface communication program: the communication program of Ethernet interface adapter functions is to verify the communication function between PC and lower machine; the communication program is to verify the experimental data transceiver between Ethernet interface and GPIB interface. |
