With the development of the economy, more and more smart, high density buildings are built in the city, and HVAC system is an important part of the building.Currently, we need to run wires from the controlled facilities to the thermostat location when we install the HVAC system, it will cost much time and money.The purpose of this project is to provide a cost effective wireless solution that enables the contractor to reduce their total installed cost by eliinating the need to run wires to the thermostat location.The thesis lays stress on the research and application of wireless interface system between thermostats and facilities.Firstly, it describes the reason why these MCUs and other ICs selected. Secondly, the hardware core of MEGA324 and MSP430 are introduced in detail, and it describes all the function blocks with some schematics and simulation test data.Finally, the whole design is finished.In conclusion, the research in aspects of hardware design and application of embedded system make us learn the core technology of embedded system and setup a firmly base for further complicated embedded development.
