This paper takes the current situation and measures of format radio of provincial broadcasting station in Jiangxi province as research objects, and takes Jiangxi finance and economics broadcast “success 992” as a case study to systematically analyzes the basic mode and path of development of China radio since the reform and opening-up. This paper also analyzes the current situation and problems of format radio of provincial broadcasting station in Jiangxi province.The introduction part of this paper introduces the research background, research object and significances; chapter one introduces the three periods of the development of the broadcast in China since the reform and opening-up; chapter two introduces the current situation of format radio of provincial broadcasting station in Jiangxi province and analyzes the media ecological environment of the provincial broadcasting station in Jiangxi province. Also the writer uses SWOT model to analyze the superiority, weakness, opportunity and threats in the development in details. In addition, the writer analyzes the existing problems of the provincial broadcasting station in Jiangxi province; Chapter 3 shows a case study of Jiangxi finance and economics broadcast “success 992”,which mainly analyzes the orientation of the audiences, the construction of program, media convergence, cross-media convergence and cross-field convergence; based on STP theory, chapter 4 discusses the measures of the development of format radio of provincial broadcasting station in Jiangxi province from 3 aspects including market segmentation, target market and market position; in the conclusion part, the paper approves the development of Jiangxi broadcasting station and also presents that the development of format radio broadcast should be based on scientific data of listening survey, and then exactly analyzes STP theory, the ways of expanding multiple market service and explores the potential market space of the development of format radio broadcast.
