Internet TV series made by video website has got more and more attention since authority issued some policies like Ad-Ban and entertainment-Ban. Based on five years development, video websites have made large excellent internet TV series which gradually become the main content of video website. So this dissertation intend to thoroughly analyze internet TV series’merchandise nature and developing trend.Considering the merchandise attribute of video website self-made TV series, the analysis of internet TV series is based on 4P theory with other relevant papers. The internet TV series made by video website is viewed as an independent product and be analyzed on its character, price, place and promotion in this dissertation. Through the analysis, we will conclude internet TV series’ nature and commercial pattern.There are three methods for collecting relevant data. Firstly, practical survey. Collect practical information of internet TV series in recent four years from their official websites and online-offline resources. Secondly, interview of expert. I had interview with an expert who works as a producer in a video website. Finally, cases analysis.There are seven section of this dissertation. The first one is introduction which contains backup, objection, relevant investigation list and paper frame. The second part to the sixth part is the most important part of the dissertation. Analyze the internet TV series in terms of marketing and 4P theory. The last part is conclusion, I summarize above analysis and forecast its future.As far as I view, in the gradually mature market, the video website must expand their business to the whole industry, not only as video broadcast media, but also as video produce, in order to achieve more profit.
