With the rapid development of computer technology and widely use of network technology, on the basis of modern equipment of advanced information technology to build reasonable information management systems, using rational and efficient enterprise database systems of information technology to enhance the levels of their own. We could get rid of the deficiencies of last device management using paper cards and other forms and then could improve management level of enterprises.As an important part of enterprise management, equipment management plays an extremely important role in enterprise operation. It could be learnt from the advanced device management theory and business management model that building device information management system is an important method to improve the level of enterprise management.This paper would, by the background of equipment management information system in implementation and application of QuJing Mountain Coal Mine and combined with the company’s actual device management needs, firstly brief narrate the background, purposes and meaning of research on equipment management information system; Secondly, review equipment management theory of information equipment management in QuJing Mountain Coal Mine, system development model and key issues; Thirdly, from the perspective of demand analysis, analyze the functional and non-functional demand of equipment management information system in QuJing Mountain Coal Mine; Next, according to the needs, systematically design QuJing Mountain Coal Mine’s equipment management information system from the perspective of software engineering including nine functional design modules:user information management, information management department, equipment information management, equipment management, equipment purchase, management, equipment repair management, equipment obsolescence management, data management and system management reports as well as use case diagram, sequence diagram and database design referring to production of conceptual structure design and logic structure design.On the basis of detailed design, we try firstly to make a brief introduction of all modules according to the demands analysis and to give a systematic rendering and the realization of all parts.Finally, try to summary and expect the design and implementation of device management information system in Qujing Mountain Coal Mine and give a further advice to improve.To sum up, we design and realize the device management information system on the basis of analysis demand and device management.
