The vicissitude of society culture is an important area of national studies in recent years. With the deepening of globalization and the transformation of our society, and the spread of mass media in ethnic minority areas, the media and herdsman are becoming increasingly closer. The development of the ethnic traditional culture have made new achievements, while also faced serious problems. Facing many challenges, how to meet the requirements of the times, the effective rational utilization of the mass media and traditional cultural heritage developing has become the concern of the various nationalities. What academic circles research on the influence of television to pasturing area is focus on macroscopic level, and lacks analysis of concrete examples, especially the impact of TV on ethnic minority pastoral lifestyle. From the perspective of life, production, values and cultural changes, taking the spread of television of Xilinguole League in Inner Mongolia pastoral as a background, This study analyzes the role that television played in Mongolian society and cultural changing, using anthropology and communication related knowledge. Addition to the introduction, this article is divided into five parts. The first chapter introduces the cultural and geography of harigentai village on geography, and the history and development of TV going into the region. The second chapter, based on carding the media development of harigentai village, and investigate the use and gratifications of TV. The third chapter analyzes the tear of television on traditional Mongolian culture. The fourth chapter describes the role of television played in the traditional Mongolian cultural heritage patching. The final chapter, on the basis of the above study, presents the problems of television on national cultural inheritance and possible countermeasures.
