With the sustainable development of social economy and the progress of science and technology, the combination of culture and technology has become an important direction of cultural industries’ development. As an important component of culture, the development of museum has attracted more and more attention. The form of medium has become both broader and richer in modern society. It is connected with the public closely and it puts forward to a higher request to the museum communication. In order to meet the changing needs of the audience and to get a better effect of information dissemination, diversified means and techniques have been used in museum activities continuously. The media plays an important role in the dissemination of information. However, the innovation on the exhibition of cultural relics has been concerned by the museum practitioners for a long time. Putting the way of film and film creation into the exhibition of cultural relics, which based on the characteristics and advantages of the way of film, and this method can spread the cultural relics information effectively and can provide a new approach to the exhibition of cultural relics.Most of history museums in China were built in early years, and the ways to exhibit cultural relics in history museums are very traditional and conservative,and their effects of information dissemination are very limited. The exploration of history museums’ exhibitions by the way of film and television is still at a superficial stage. The phenomenon of “attaching importance to the form and lighting the content” remains widespread, which only draws support from the form of film to the exhibition of cultural relics. Its content is lack of interest,which can not attract the attention of the audience effectively. Therefore, how to use the way of film and the theory of the creation of film in the film of the exhibition of cultural relics effectively has an important meaning to theexhibition of cultural relics’ improvement.This article is going to research the exploration of history museums’ exhibitions with the way of film, which aims to these as below: Firstly, try to tease out the related concepts about museum, and summarize the current situation of history museums’ development and the characteristic of history museums’ exhibitions by the way of film which bases on the division of the different museum types. Secondly, the author also analyses the museum communication and the influencing factors of communication effects bases on the communication theory, and summarizes the important meaning to the development of museum by the innovation on exhibition of cultural relics.Thirdly, the author bases on the analysis of the characteristics and demands of the audience, knows the audience’s attitude about the museum communication and history museums’ exhibitions by the way of film at the present stage according to the actual investigation. Finally, the author aims at the exploration of history museums’ exhibitions by the way of film and combines with the case study, and tries to put forward the principle and method of how the film uses to the exploration of history museums’ exhibitions with the creation method of documentary as foundation. Based on the above analysis and research, the author expects that this article will provide some useful references to improve the effect of museum communication.
