Research On Museum Exhibition Environment Monitoring System Of Yunnan Museum Based On Preventive Conservation

Preservation environment is the main reason that affects the deterioration of materials in museum collections.In order to delay the damage of the museum's cultural relics,it is necessary to adopt certain technical means to reduce the impact of the environmental factors and slow down the decline of the material to achieve the purpose of essentially protecting the cultural relics.The preservation environment includes the warehouse and exhibition halls.Different from the warehouse area which the relics are stored separately,the situation is more complicated in the exhibition halls.The relics are stored together,which the preservation status is affected by the large environment in the exhibition halls and the mini-environment in the showcase.Based on the standard of “Museum Architectural Design Code”(JGJ66-2015)and “Museum Lighting Design Code”(GB/T23863-2009),this article reported the preliminary research on the preventive conservation of cultural relics in the collection applying the environmental monitoring in the exhibition areas in Yunnan Provincial Museum.The research includes the following aspects:1 ? Investigation of the environment in the exhibition hall to understand the preservation status of the cultural relics of different materials in each exhibition hall of Yunnan Provincial Museum,and the influence of environmental factors on the exhibition of cultural relics.2 ? Collection of the real-time monitoring data of the exhibition environment utilizing the monitoring system on each floor,and evaluation of the existing preventive conservation measures.3 ? Suggestions and improvements for the environmental monitoring measures based on the existing protection measures.Through the above three aspects of research,the following conclusions are concluded:The establishment of the exhibition environment monitoring system provides rich essential data for the preventive conservation of Yunnan Provincial Museum,and is conducive to the formation of a scientific environmental quality assessment.Also,it provides scientific proof for formulating plans to improve the preservation of cultural relics,and defines the active and passive regulation.Meanwhile,it is also necessaryto constantly explore the practice on the basis of existing facilities,enrich monitoring means,comprehensively deepen monitoring content to reflect the current situation and development trend accurately and timely.The scientific data system is the premise of the research on reasonable control of the preservation environment of cultural relics.The monitoring system of exhibition environment is important to improve the exhibition environment of cultural relics and enhance the preventive conservation ability of the museum's collection in Yunnan Provincial Museum.
