While Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issuing the license of4G, TD-LTE (Time Division Duplexing-Long Term Evolution) has come to commercializing officially. Therefore, its terminal industry is developing rapidly. Test is one of the most important parts of terminal industry. The TD-LTE Protocol Analysis Instrument is used for Protocol Conformance Test (PCT), which meets the requirement of TD-LTE terminals test. As a key technology of TD-LTE, Adaptive Link Technology is a key component of PCT.The existing protocol of TD-LTE just gives some parameter configuration of Adaptive Link Technology, but not the specific implementation scheme. Based on the existing protocol, this paper designs the implementation scheme of Adaptive Link Technology, and proposes an improved algorithm for Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC), which can improve the system throughput without sacrificing performance. According to the implementation scheme, this paper develops the Adaptive Link Technology on a TD-LTE Protocol Analysis Instrument and achieves the test function of AMC, Power Control, etc.For AMC, this paper achieves the process of Channel Quality Indication (CQI) mapping to Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) and Block Error Ratio (BLER) influencing MCS. For the latter one, this paper proposes an improved algorithm based on regression analysis, promoting the system throughput. For Power Control, this paper completes the configuration of downlink power and the process of3uplink power control models, including a compensation algorithm of uplink power, coding of Transmission Power Control (TPC), etc.At the last of the paper, the test function of Adaptive Link Technology is verified. The results show that AMC and Power Control can both test the corresponding module for terminals. Besides, the improved algorithm based on regression analysis is simulated. It proves that the improved algorithm can promote the throughput of system.This paper achieves the test function of Adaptive Link Technology on TD-LTE Protocol Analysis Instrument, which can provide test function for corresponding module of terminals.
