In recent years, the rapid development of wireless communication, currentlythere are many wireless video transmission products on the market, but at the sametime be able to meet the high-quality, long-distance and self-networking features ofthe product are few. To solve this problem, an urgent need to develop a new type ofvideo transmission systems. This issue is raised in this context, since under thecombined Ad-Hoc network technology and Embedded Systems technology to designan Ad-Hoc network environment video transmission system based on embeddedLinux platform.This paper analyzes the characteristics and key technologies Ad-Hoc network,analyzes the difficulties of MANET technology. Secondly, based on the in-depthstudy and analysis of the Ad-Hoc protocol, to study the AODV protocol andEmbedded Linux System related interface and network structure, put forward adesign scheme of the system detailed design of network transport protocols. Again,complete build Embedded Linux platform, including the establishment of anembedded Linux system migration, hardware platform, several key chip select andgives a detailed analysis of the performance paRAMeters. Finally, in the embeddedLinux system specific implementations of video transmission, the design is completeVideo4Linux based video capture module, and MPEG-4video data compression,complete real-time transmission of video streams. And analyzes the concurrentembedded server in a multi-threaded environment detailed design ideas. On the basisof AODV algorithm established on the Ad-Hoc network test environment, in thisenvironment to test the real-time video data collection, transmission and display.Experimental results show that: the system is able to achieve self-organizing networkrouting, and network performance can meet the application requirements of video communication.
