Along with the continuous development of mobile communication technology, mobileterminal with open operating system is not only commonly used in applications such ascommunication and entertainment, but also entered into Industrial fields gradually and people,s life. Large enterprise production equipment is the key to ensure enterprise development andthe economic efficiency, so monitoring the status of the equipment is the necessity,which isensured that the device run normally. This paper introduced the mobile communicationtechnology into the field of industrial control, designed and implemented a equipmentmonitoring system which is based on the platform of mobile terminal.Introduction of mobileterminal equipment monitoring system enhanced and promoted the efficiency of maintenancework.Data compression technology not only reduces the total amount of wireless datatransmission, but also ensured real-time data transmission reliability and low latency nature.This system was consisting of three parts: data acquisition module, intelligent data server,mobile terminal monitoring. After data encoding and converting, the data was transformedand saved in the intelligent data server by Zigbee wireless transmission way. Intelligent dataserver received and used multi-sensor information fusion technology to get the abnormal dataof equipment monitoring point and the corresponding strategy, Then sent to the mobileterminal through wireless communication technology. Terminal users received maintenancestrategy information to maintain and make corresponding information feedback. The mainwork of author lied in:①designed and implemented equipment monitoring system based onmobile terminal, and promoted the stability of the equipment monitoring System;②Usingdata compression algorithm to compress the data in order to enhance the reliability of theSystem.Firstly, this paper analyzed the necessity of using the mobile terminal to monitor theequipment and the predominance of the Android operating systems in detail. Secondly,Designed and implemented the equipment monitoring system based on mobileterminals.Finally, this used a data compression Technology to select the data dynamically which is used to affirm the reliability of the data transmission. The test showed that:①Themonitoring data real-time transmission can be guaranteed by large equipment monitoringsystem based on mobile terminal effectively, it has the advantage of easy to maintain,real-time, portable, friendly interface, etc, which can establish the foundation in industrialfield for system;②Data compression technology of integer for power is suitable for themobile data transmission system.
