A Reasearch And Implemention Of Chinese Mobile Learning Software Based On Multi-Platform

Mobile learning, as a new way of learning, can happen at anywhere and anyplace under the help of mobile computing equipment. It breaks through the obstruction of time and space, which satisfies the people's need in modern society. It is an essential part of Ubiquitous Learning. According to the rapid rise of Chinese learning requirement, Chinese mobile learning is regarded to be more and more important by many professionals as a new kind of mobile learning. Because of the increasing computing and processing ability, Smart Phones become to be the capable mobile terminal for Mobile learning. However, the diversity of operating systems and development platforms of Smart Phones makes it hard to unity the development methods of software applications.The main researches of this paper are described as follows. The differences between JIL Widget platform and Android platform are listed at the theoretical level. Following the theory of Chinese learning and Chinese teaching solutions, a series of Chinese mobile learning software are designed and implemented based on JIL Widget platform and Android platform. Take the series of Chinese mobile learning software as examples, the differences between JIL Widget platform and Android platform are analyzed and listed in the practical instance level.All the Chinese mobile learning software has been tested by different user groups. The effectiveness of the series of Chinese mobile learning software is confirmed. And the comparison work between these two platforms can be useful for the future developers by reference.
