The influence of urban culture grows with the rapid expansion of urbanization.Urban culture communication plays an important role in the harmony and stability ofthe urban development, sustainability of urban citizens’ culture identity. As the coreelement of the modern urban competitiveness, urban culture is an importantmanifestation of the city’s soft power and the city’s image. As a new medium and withunique characters of real-time sharing and dissemination, Weibo stand out from manypopular network platforms in short time, Weibo has become the most influential andbrand value of new medium. Thus, there is some practical significance to investigateurban culture communication on the Weibo platform, opening up a new researchperspective in the field of urban culture communication.This essay based on Nanchang city, selecting several typical weibo users who haveplayed important roles in Nanchang weibos. The author has used Constructed weeksampling analysis to analyzed the current situation of how weibo users helped withcity cultural communication through weibo.The conclusion of this essay makes is thatNanchang as a city exists many problems in cultural communication through blogs,such as lack of managements, lack of contents, the content being shallow and barren.However, Nanchang, as a historical city, is supposed to combine its own rich culturewith weibos’ characters to effectively communicate Nanchang culture.The author believes that improving effects of weibo influence on communicatingNanchang Culture has to start with the management of weibo images. A fine weiboimages can influentially the brand and the deep meaning of the weibo. Then whatmatters is the content construction of weibo content including the full perspectives ofweibo content of communication; the combinations of the content and thecommunication methods; the interactive between the weibo distributers, the fans, theusers to improve the comments to improve the effects of communications. The lastone is to promote the cooperations between the the weibo users to form a weibo userscircle in the city, to fully make the use of the medias and weibo to communicate thecity culture and expand the influences of weibo on city culture communications.
