In the recent years, talent shows have become some of the most lucrative andpopular television programs all around the world. Along with the prosperity in realitytalent shows and singing competitions, many more similarities that are shared betweenthem have bored the audience.’’The Voice of China’’ is a Chinese reality talent show thatpremiered in2012, sponsored by Zhejang Television network. It has redefined, how themusic industry operates, namely, the rating. As being the top-rated singing competition,’’The Voice of China’’ represents the increasing trend of popularity of the talent shows andreality shows. This article indicates the analysis of development of the Chinese musictalent show programs with the ideas towards success. The9characteristics include theuse of literature review, comparative study, case study, number research includes thecurrent status of the Chinese music talent show program, producing and broadcasting,innovative program formats, high-quality producing team with the sophisticatedproducing standards, analysis of a wide range of audiences, new media publicity, and themuti-party co-profitable cooperative model.
