The Design And Implementation Of Maternal And Child Health Management System For Jinan Military Region456Hospital

In response to relevant policies and regulations of health care reform introduced recently in China, especially about the improvement of maternal and child health work,456Hospital of Jinan Military Region decides to establish a management system for the hospital’s maternal and child health. Improving the traditional manual management mode, making maternal and child health work as public welfare work; accelerating the build of an efficient public services system related to women and children, promoting informatization of maternal and child health, ensuring information networking. Since women and children are the focus groups, the service platform for women and children shall be more humanized to better meet the needs of special population. Considering of the problems and shortcomings of traditional manual management, this paper analyzes and researches the maternal and child health management mode of456Hospital of Jinan Military Region, finally proposes the establishment of a health care management system for women and children.There are five parts for the design and implementation of the maternal and child health management system for456Hospital of Jinan Military Region in this paper, including introduction, requirements analysis, detailed design of functions, implementation and testing, and conclusion and outlook. Studying and discussing the build of the maternal and child health management information system and involved information interaction issues. In the design process, the system uses the object-oriented technology and UML visual modeling tool to create the system model, and uses MVC design pattern and struts2technology framework to design functional modules which implement the maternal and child health management system based on B/S framework.The main operating users of the maternal and child health management system for456Hospital of Jinan Military Region system are system administrators, and the system design achieves four functional modules, system login module, system setting module, pregnant and lying-in woman health care module, and child health care module. System login module implements the system administrator login, allowing system administrators to normally enter the main interface of pregnant and lying-in woman health care to do some relevant operations; system setting module achieves the management of user information, unit information and holidays and festivals information, etc.; pregnant and lying-in woman health care module implements several sub-functions, including filing information for pregnant women and pregnancy test, childbirth and visit management, special case management, comprehensive inquiry report management, management general survey and treatment management for gynecological diseases, contraceptive operation management, and premarital check-up management, etc.; child health care module implements sub-functions of filing information for children and physical examination, project management and comprehensive inquiry report management, etc..After functional testing and perfection, the maternal and child health management system for456Hospital of Jinan Military Region has been successfully applied for the management of maternal and child health in456Hospital of Jinan Military Region, improving the traditional manual management mode, and improving the working efficiency.
