Li Zengbao is a"Mud phaf-mid phaf" narrator of Lancang County who has attracted the attention of outside world under the mass enthusiasm on Intangible cultural heritage. He makes "Mud phaf-mid phaf" narration of different content and styles under different language context.Firstly, under festival context, Li Zengbao conducts"Mud phaf-mid phaf" narration as a folk individual. The perfect corresponding to the context makes his narration presents an episodic characteristic. The narration methods are very diverse, which include oral narration,body narration and also comprehensive ceremony narration. Under such context, the people interact with Li Zengbao share the same culture tradition with him, and the text he narrates owns folk nature of "Mud phaf-mid phaf".Secondly, in inheriting context, Li Zengbao conducts his narration to "Mud phaf-mid phaf" as a knowledge distributee. The narration of him is to pass down their national culture. Inheriting context include traditional context and the one formed by the propel of outside world. In the latter context, the context of Li Zengbao’s narration is fragment according to his disciple’s study. The narration method is prose-styled oral narration to "Mud phaf-mid phaf".Finally, under Intangible cultural heritage context, Li Zengbao conducts his "Mud phaf-mid phaf" narration as a Intangible cultural heritage inheritor of nation-level Lusheng Dance. His narration is intensive and systematic, which shows a certain order. The narration method is "singing"and "speaking"which has no holy characteristic and "dancing"this body narration method. Under this context, his narration is influenced by outside world and the text his narration presents is non-folk style.In conclusion, from Li Zengbao’s"Mud phaf-mid phaf" narration under three context: original folk context, derivative inheriting context and Intangible cultural heritage context, we find his narration context is complete, narration method is diverse. He is an integrated "Mud phaf-mid phaf" narrator. Through the study on Li Zengbao, we can see "Mud phaf-mid phaf" narration tradition is diversity on synchronic level, and its change on diachronic level. The exist of diversity and change does not mean the define of "Mud phaf-mid phaf" narrative tradition can expand at will, at least the basic rule to its context and narrating method should lay stress on and insist. The content should concentrate on the original matter and the national living history. The narration methods such as "speaking","singing" and "dancing" also should be protected and passed down.
