Under today’s background of globalization, the transnational business activities of enterprises are getting more and more, which affect each country and region profoundly. People from different cultural backgrounds come together to form an effective cross-cultural team has become a tendency. Cross-cultural team has richer experience and more ability of innovation. Trough effective cross-cultural cooperation, people can quickly learn advanced technology and experience of other countries. However, due to the differences in customs, religious beliefs and values, people may have different interpretation of the same information in the process of communication, which may produces contradiction and even lead to the failure of cross-cultural cooperation. Therefore, in the process of intercultural cooperation, communicating effectively and avoiding misunderstanding or conflict in the process of intercultural communication has become the primary task.This thesis takes A company China&India IT training course development project as case and takes cross-cultural communication management as study direction, the main contents are as follows:(ⅰ)In this thesis, theory, method and principles relating to cross-cultural communication are analyzed and summarized deliberately.(ⅱ)The backgrounds and significance of China&India IT training course development project are analyzed, also the pattern of organization, developing scheme and responsibilities are introduced.(iii)The communication management scheme of the project is studied further and the reason of problems is found out in the process of communication.(ⅳ)The communication improvement measures of the project are put forward based on the questionnaire survey method. These measures aiming at eliminating cultural conflict, realizing timely and accurate communication and creating harmonious atmosphere in the project team include organizing cross-cultural training, improving communication process and adding informal communication in the process of project development.(ⅴ)The effectiveness of these measures is also analyzed and verified by questionnaire survey method and analytic hierarchy process in this thesis.Nowadays, cross-cultural cooperation has become an important channel for enterprises development. Effective communication is of great significance to ensure the success of intercultural cooperation. To achieve effective cross-cultural communication not only need the member from different backgrounds can fully know and understand the differences, eliminate misunderstanding and reach a consensus between each, also need to establish effective communication method and channels to ensure the timely and accurate the transmission of information.
