The National Student Loan in colleges and universities of our country was implemented from 1996, it has experienced 19 years of development. The National Student Loan is an important part and core content of financial assistance system for poor students in colleges and universities of our country. Its implementation has a profound significance to the society, banks, colleges and universities and the poor students. After ten years of development, The National Student Loan in local colleges and universities has made great achievements, but at the same time, It also appeared some shortages and problems that can not be ignored. In addition, Compared with foreign, the National Student Loan in our country started late and its development time is short, Therefore, it will inevitably fall into some bottlenecks and difficulties in its implementation process. In this background, this thesis takes the National Student Loan in colleges and universities of GuiLin as a case, to study the implementation of the National Student Loan in Local colleges and Universities, It has certain necessity and research significance.Firstly, This thesis uses literature research method and comparative research method, expounds the background, connotation and significance of the National Student Loan in local colleges and universities, and compares the development of foreign student loan and the similarities and differences between the two national student loan models (The National Student Loan on campus and The students credit loan) in our country. Secondly, This thesis uses survey research method, in view of colleges and universities, investigates the implementation of the National Student Loan in the major of colleges and universities in GuiLin, and applies the results in this thesis, in order to reflect the general problems existing in local colleges and universities. Finally, according to the problems that the survey results reflect, this thesis points out the reasons and puts forward some beneficial suggestions. This thesis is divided into four parts:Part one——The background, connotation and significance of the National Student Loan in local colleges and universities. This part from the background, connotation and significance three aspects introduce the national student loan in local colleges and universities.Part two——The implementation and problems of the National Student Loan in local colleges and universities. This section from the current situation and existing problems two aspects, analyses the national student loan in local colleges and universities. In the current situation, this thesis analyses the implementation of the national student loan in the national, GuangXi and GuiLin local colleges and universities.
