| The prosperity of the country lies in education and the development of the education depends on teachers. The senior high school education plays an important role in education. It is the bridge of nine-year compulsory education and higher education. As we know teachers of senior high school shoulder the historical responsibility.Focusing on work status of high school teachers,arousing the enthusiasm of high school teachers in work and improving teachers’ work efficiency and quality have an important significance on improving the quality of basic education and higher education.This paper selects the X senior high school in Mianyang as a study case.By carrying out questionnaire survey and interview and by using qualitative and quantitative research methods, this paper has a detailed investigation and analysis of senior high school teachers’ work time.In my paper I have studied the work time of the senior high school teachers from several dimensions. I do this research systematically and quantitatively with different methods such as statistics, on-the-spot investigation and interview. The research results in this paper points out that the long work hours and the high work stress of the teachers have brought a series of adverse effects and problems. In this paper I also thoroughly analyze the causes of these problems. According to the research results, what the management of education, the school administrators and the teachers themselves can do to optimize high school teachers’ work time and reduce the work pressure,I put forward suggestions in three aspects. I hope that my essay on high school teachers’ work time and work pressure can provoke attention of the society, education and scientific research personnel and school administrators. And I also hope that this essay can provide some bases and help for the administrative departments of education, school administrators and teachers who wants to improve the situation of the high school teachers. |
