Teaching language is a kind of necessary instrument and animportant media for teaching. The norm of teaching language is related tothe quality of teaching, so the research of norm about teaching languagecan improve the teaching standards and learning efficiency. The researchof teaching language is included in the research of applied linguistics. Asthe narrower concept of teaching language, Chinese teaching language inmiddle school should be with characteristics of middle school andChinese. At present, most researches focus on pedagogies. This thesistries to take a deep research within the scope of applied linguistics.The thesis consists of four parts. The first part is the introduction,which discusses the background and significance of the paper, contentand research methods and the objective review about research status. Allof these are based on literature review. The second part includes thecontent and range about the norm of Chinese teaching language in middleschool. Firstly, five concepts are defined and the relative concepts ofChinese teaching language in middle school are clearly distinguished.Secondly, the author states the feature of the Chinese teaching languagein middle school. Thirdly, the content about the norm of Chinese teachinglanguage in middle school is stated, which includes pronunciation,grammar, semantic, pragmatics. The third part is about the norm ofconventional teaching language. Above all, the conventional teachinglanguage concept is defined. And then, the paper puts forward thestandards of the norm and uses the relevant instances to discuss the norm.Then the author explains some points which we should pay attention inwork. The fourth part of the thesis analyzes the norm of linguisticsterminology. This thesis tries to exploit new angle of view from the pointof linguistics. The author expects that the result of this research will behelpful to the norm of Chinese teaching language in middle school.
