Revolutionary thought is the core of Marx’s revolution theory. By the view of Arendt critical interpretation of Marx’s revolution theory, this article will reinterpret Contemporary View of Marxist revolution. The article points out that Marx’s revolution theory bases on the historical materialism theory. In this sense, there are two revolutions for the Marx’s revolution theory, namely the bourgeois revolution and proletarian revolution. It is in Marx’s words that they are political emancipation and human emancipation.Based on the theory of labor, Arendt critique Marx’s revolution theory aiming to point out that Marx’s outlook of revolution is only the revolution of the poor or workers. Whereas, workers--- laborers in Arendt theory system have no idea about liberty, so Arendt assert that Marx’s revolution theory will eventually lose liberty and revolutionConsequently, the paper further points out the workers revolution is far from the proletarian revolution. The distance between the workers and the proletariat is farther than imagining. There are a large number of intermediaries between the workers and the proletariat. Under the foundation of the theory of historical materialism, Marx’s revolution of the proletariat thought is just surmounting the bourgeois revolution and its mission is to explore the next possibility of history. Therefore, facing the Arendt’s workers-consumers’society and Marx’s capital fetishism society, exploring the possibility of revolution becomes our mission. The paper emphatically points out that Marx’s revolution theory still has its contemporary value and it is our important theory support for the further resolving the problem of human society. Reinterpreting Marx’s revolution theory and further to clarifying still has important theoretical and practical significance.
