CSD(52) with mood disorders were randomly selected from the inpatients, 26 cases as the intervention group and 26 cases as non-intervention group. Patients in the non-intervention group received routine nursing care. Besides those in the intervention group received psychological nursing intervention. After a week of discharged, we assessed the emotional state and vertigo function level of patients. The data was put into computer and analyzed with T-test, chi square test, logistics regression analysis and pearson correlation analysis using software of SPSS17.0.Results:1. In patients with 64 CSD, more than 80% of the patients had anxiety and depression; vertigo function level of CSD was mainly concentrated in 2, 3 and 4 and had impact on the daily life and work. The level of vertigo in CSD is related to anxiety and depression.2. There were positive correlation in somatization, compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, phobia and psychoticism and between CSD and control group(P<0.05). There were positive correlation in E(internal and external) and N(neuroticism) between CSD and control group( P<0.05). There were positive correlation in the total score of social support, subjective support points and degree of support between CSD and control(P<0.05).Anxiety(OR=2.546, P < 0.05), depression(OR=1.613, P < 0.05), hostility(OR=1.983(P < 0.05), E(OR=0.682, P < 0.05) had an impact to the occurrence and development of CSD.3. There was a significant correlation between the mental health status, personality characteristics and social support of the patients with CSD.4. Psychological nursing intervention could alleviate the anxiety of patients.Conclusion:1. The prevalence of anxiety and depression was high in 64 patients with CSD. Compared with the control group, the mental health status of CSD patients was poor, which had the characteristics of inward and neurotic personality, and the subjective support and the utilization of the CSD patients were poor than the control group.2. Anxiety, depression, hostility and introverted personality played an important role in the occurrence and development of CSD, which may be a risk factor for the occurrence and development of the disease.3. There was a significant correlation between the mental health status, personality characteristics and social support of CSD patients, and the negative emotions of patients with CSD were related to the personality characteristics and social support.4. Psychological nursing intervention for CSD patients made them feel better significantly in anxiety during hospitalization, which showed that the psychological nursing intervention program is feasible and effective.
