Objective:The aim of the research were to analysis the correlation between pulse pressure index and left ventricular structure and function and the influence factors of left ventricular and structure on maintanence hemodialysis patients.Methods:Randomly collecting the data of 76 maintenance hemodialysis patients in the affiliated hospital of Qinghai University, we recorded the general data 、dialysis age、biochemical paramaters and left ventricular structure and fnction paramaters.Measured the Systolic blood pressure(SBP) 、 diastolic blood pressure(DBP)、 ultrafiltration(UF)、 the percentage of interdialysitic weight gain(IDWG) of all cases on 1 month,alculated the pulse pressure(PP)、mean arterial pressure(MAP) 、pulse pressure index(PPI). To ananlysis the correlation between PPI and left ventricular structure and function and infer the influence factors of left ventricular structure and function by SPSS 17.0.inspection level alpha=0.05.Results: 1. The SBP、PP、PPI and IDWG of the LVH group were higher than the non-LVHgroup,while the HGB、TG were lower than non-LVH group with a statitstical significance of P<0.05. There were no statistical significance of the two group in Age 、DA、UF、PLT、TP、ALB、GLB、AST、LDH、HBDH、CK、CK-MB、MYO、TCH、LDL、HDL、Ca、P、i PTH、DBP、MAP with a statistical significance of P>0.05.2. PP had a significant positive correlation with LVMI、 LA、LVM 、IVS by a statistical significance of P<0.05,the correlation coefficiences from large to small were LVMI(0.411)、LA(0.342)、LVM(0.264)、IVS(0.260),while there wasn’t a significant positive correlation with LVd、LVPW、EF、FS、EDV、SV、CO、CI by a statistical significance of P>0.05. PPI had a significant positive correlation with LVMI、LA by a statistical significance of P<0.05,the correlation coefficiences from large to small were LVMI(0.339)、 LA(0.276),while there wasn’t a significant positive correlation with LVd、LVPW、LVM 、EF、FS、EDV、SV、CO、CI by a statistical significance of P>0.05.3. SBP was the most important influence factor of left ventricular and structure,it could influent LVd、IVS、LVPW、LVMI、EDV、SV and CO;HGB could be regarded as the influence factor of LVMI and CI;IDWG could be regarded as the influence factor of LVPW; PP could be regarded as important influence factors of LA;PPI had a positive correlation with LVMI and LA,but it might not be a significante influence factor of the left heart ventricular and function,we speculated that the reason why PPI had a relationship with cardiovascular disease(CVD) mostly based on the secondary transformation of SBP and HGB.Conclusion: 1 LVH was the most commom stracture transformation on hemodialysis patients and the PPI of LVH group was higher than the non-LVH group.2 PP had a significant positive correlation with LA,but PPI might not be the influence factor of the transformation of all the paramaters about the left ventricular structure and function included in the research,SBP was regarded as the most important influence factor of left ventricular and function.3 Controlling blood pressure especially SBP、reducing PP、getting command of IDWG and improving anemia could definately perfect the left ventricular remodeling and function on MHD patients.
