| Acute cerebrovascular disease, also called stroke. Since 2008, it has risen to the first cause of death in our country(The following causes of death were malignant neoplasm, respiratory diseases and heart diseases), and Ischemic stroke has accounted for more than 70% of stroke. Stroke has five high epidemiological characteristics in our country such as high incidence, disability, mortality rates, recurrence rate and heavy burden on our society. Objective In order to provide the theoretical basis of the regional prevention and control for investigating the stroke population distribution in Gansu, this subject surveyed the stroke and high risk population distribution from January 1 to December31(2013) in Gansu province. Methods A mixed methodology of both qualitative and quantitative research is employed in the study. Take the permanent residents over 40 ages covered by 7base hospitals, 30 community health stations, 18 township health clinics and 2worker’s hospital as study objects, and make the Overall sample survey which conclude Face to face questionnaire, medical examination and laboratory tests. The survey is writed by the screening and stroke prevention office national ministry of health that Consists of three parts: The first part of the basic information for the residents, the second part is the risk factor assessment and the third part is the simple health guidance. With stroke high-risk population screening and intervention project technical solution in 2012 as the standard: 1. History of high blood pressure(SBP≥140mmHg or DBP≥90mmHg), or are taking blood pressure medication;2. Atrial fibrillation and heart valve disease; 3. Smoking(more one smoking cigarettes a day, more than one year in a row); 4. Dyslipidemia; 5. Diabetes; 6. The lack of sports(Physical exercise is a standard exercise greater than or equal to three times a week, and every time greater than or equal to 30 minutes at a time, lasting more than1 year. Engaged in the relation between manual laborers as often have sports);7.Apparently overweight or obese(BMI≥26 kg/m2); 8. Have a family history of stroke. The high fators of Screening object has three or more risk factors or has a history of stroke or transient ischemic attack. Moderate risk of stroke has less three risk factors, but one of the patients with chronic diseases(conclude:High blood pressure, diabetes, atrial fibrillation, or valvular heart disease). Stroke low-risk population has less three risk factors or no one of the patients with chronic diseases. The data submitted to national health development planning commission stroke prevention and control platform. Statistics of gansu regional cerebral apoplexy and potential risk factors for stroke population data and Using SPSS13.0 to analyze its regional characteristics.Result The permanent residents of 40 years and older were screened 45,179 who completed the screening capacity of 43,673 people. There were 21,161 males and22,512 females. Stroke in high-risk groups was 14.78%, of which the proportion of patients with previous stroke was 1.59%, TIA patients was 2.31%, middle-risk was10.81% and low-risk population was 74.40%. For one-way ANOVA, we tested stroke,TIA, male and female patients in different regions subject to normal distribution and homogeneity of variance, with statistical significance, and the chi-square test was used for validation. The crude prevalence of stroke and TIA has statistical significance except the TIA patients in Qingyang and Baiyin. Conclusion We found that the number and proportion of stroke, TIA with high-risk groups, middle-risk and low-risk groups showed a regional distribution. In addition, stroke, TIA with high-risk groups, middle- and low-risk groups existed differences. Therefore, improving stroke screening database, expand and refine the coverage areas, stroke patients and its potential regional prevention and control seems inevitable. |
