Purpose:In order to provide an objective basis for the classification of the TCM syndrome types and the the treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in patients with breast cancer, we classify the patients into different TCM syndrome types, detect the clinical pathological characteristics, the expression of ER, PR, HER-2, Ki-67, VEGF, EGFR, p53 and so on in the tumor tissue and analyse the internal relationship between TCM syndromes and clinical objective data.Method:We choose a total of 100 patients with primary breast cancer treatment in traditional Chinese medicine of Jiangsu Province and Jiangsu Province Tumor Hospital from April 2015 to December 2015. We classify them into different TCM syndrome types. We collected the clinical data, including gender, age, postoperative pathological characteristics, the expression of ER, PR, HER-2, Ki67, VEGF, EGFR, p53 in the tumor tissue. Then establish a database using the SPSS 19.0 software to analysis the relationship between TCM syndromes and objective data, count data was checked by chi-square test, measurement data was checked by analysis of variance, P<0.05 is regarded as statistical difference.Result:The incidence of breast cancer is in normal distribution and the age of 41-50 is most(P<0.05).Stagnation of liver-Qi syndrome,heat-toxicity invading syndrome and disharmony of Chong and Conception Channels syndrome are the most common types of syndrome of breast cancer(P<0.05).Stagnation of liver-Qi syndrome has correlation with high incidence of infiltrating ductal carcinoma, high positive rate of ER, high incidence of Luminal breast cancer and high expression of VEGF(P<0.05). Heat-toxicity invading syndrome has correlation with high incidence of infiltrating ductal carcinoma, high incidence of triple negative breast cancer, high expression of p53, high level of Ki-67 and high expression of VEGF (P<0.05). Disharmony of Chong and Conception Channels syndrome has correlation with high incidence of infiltrating ductal carcinoma, high positive rate of ER, high expression of p53, high incidence of Luminal B breast cancer and high expression of VEGF(P<0.05).Qi and blood deficiency syndrome has correlation and with high incidence of infiltrating ductal carcinoma, high positive rate of HER-2, high expression of p53, high incidence of Luminal B breast cancer, high incidence of HER-2-overexpressing breast cancer, and high expression of EGFR(P<0.05). Deficiency of spleen and stomach syndrome has correlation with high incidence of infiltrating ductal carcinoma, high incidence of Luminal B breast cancer and high positive rate of ER(P<0.05). Yin deficiency of liver and kidney syndrome has correlation with high incidence of infiltrating ductal carcinoma, high incidence of Luminal B breast cancer and high level of Ki-67(P<0.05).Conclusion:The TCM syndrome types of breast cancer had relationship with molecular subtypes and related gene expression. Stagnation of liver-Qi syndrome is sensitive to chemotherapy, may be on drugs inhibiting angiogenesis. The role of TCM is to cooperating with the operation, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, reducing toxic side effects. Heat-toxicity invading syndrome is in a high degree of malignancy, poor effect of chemotherapy and molecular targeted therapy, not sensitive to hormonal thrapy. TCM is the main treatment. Strengthening the strength of antitumor of TCM is very important. Disharmony of Chong and Conception Channels syndrome is sensitive to chemotherapy, may be on drugs inhibiting angiogenesis. Qi and blood deficiency syndrome is in a high degree of malignancy, sensitive to anthracyclines and taxanes, in poor effect of hormonal thrapy, and may be on trastuzumab targeted therapy(herceptin). Strengthening the strength of antitumor of TCM is very important. Deficiency of spleen and stomach is sensitive to chemotherapy and hormonal thrapy. The TCM therapy may concentrate on strengthening spleen and stomach. Yin deficiency of liver and kidney syndrome is with fast tumor proliferation and may be have better effect of chemotherapy. Strengthening the strength of antitumor of TCM is also important.
