Objective:To investigate the impact of hypertension on vascular cognitive impairment patients with kidney deficiency and phlegm stasis in the aspect of blood pressure level and each cognition domain,and analyze the significance of early diagnosis of kidney deficiency and phlegm stasis syndrome type in VCI.Method:According to the diagnostic criteria of VCI and kidney deficiency and phlegm stasis syndrome type,the study enrolled 160 qualified cases from Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM and other community health service centers in Nanjing.In accordance with the present or absent of hypertension,all cases are divided into two groups:pure vascular cognitive impairment group(VCI group) and vascular cognitive impairment and hypertension group(HBP+VCI),each group has 80 cases. We collected the basic information of all patients,including sex,age,degree of education,medical history,duration of cerebrovascular disease,and use MoCA neuropsychological scale to evaluate the cognitive function,all statistics are tested by SPASS19.0 software,differences of measurements were compared with chi-square test and single factor analysis of variance.Result:There is no difference between the two groups in the aspects of sex,age,medical history,duration of cerebrovascular disease and degree of education after test using statistics methods.The MoCA scores of the two groups are:VCI 22.013±2.588,HBP+VCI 20.338±4.305,P 0.015.In accordance with the blood pressure,the HBP+VCI group is divided into three seperate groups,the MoCA score of each are:21.269±3.560,20.105±3.710,15.444±6.207,P 0.001.P of each scoring item(Visual space and executive ability, naming, attention, language, abstract ability, delayed recall, orientation) of MoCA scale between the three group are 0.223,0.243,0.008, 0.001,0.520,0.006,0.113, there is statistical difference among these three groups in-aspects of attention, language and delayed recall.Conclusion:(1)Hypertension has significant impact on VCI with kidney deficiency and phlegm(2)stasis;(2)The higher blood pressure indicated that the impairment of cognitive function was sever;(3)The effect of hypertension on cognitive impairment is mainly reflected in the domain of attention, language and delayed recall.
