The Study Of Treating Sensorineural Deafness By Ren Meridian-allocating And Du Meridian-dredging Acupuncture

ObjectiveClinical efficiency of acupuncture in Sensorineural Deafness has been affirmated, which based on clinical findings, and this study is trying to find out a new method to promote the clinical efficiency of Sensorineural Deafness.MethodsSixty qualified patients were divided into 2 groups randomly and there were 30 patients in each group. Treatment group was treated with Ren Meridian-allocating and Du Meridian-dredging acupuncture, taking points on baihui, fengfu, shenting, guanyuan, qihai;tinggong, fengchi, gongxue, waiguan, z hongzhu of bilateral, and power up with fengchi and gongxue. Control group was treated with routine medications. Pure tone audiometry, Brainstem evoked potential(incubationperiod), SAS was used to find out if there was any scientific difference in this study.ResultsPatients showed statically identical in sex(by Chi-square test), age and patients’ condition (by Rank test), Brainstem evoked potential test and SAS (by t-test).30 patients in experimental group got 10 cure,10 with conspicuous effect, 6 improved and 4 with no effect after four weeks’ treatment, and the total efficacy rate had reached 86.7 percent;30 patients in other group had got 2 cure, six conspicuous effect,13 improved and 9 with no effect after four weeks’ treatment, and the total effecacy rate had reached 70 percent. Two groups had been compared by rank test, and the differencewas significant between 2 groups (P<0.05).The data of Brainstem evoked potential test between control group and treatment grouphad showed statistical difference after 4 weeks(P<0.05) that by t-test;both teams had showed statistical difference before and after treatmentby t-test (P<0.05)SAS datas of the 2 groups had showed scientific difference after 4 weeks treatment which tested by t-score (P<0.05); both groups had showed scientific difference pretherapy and post-treatment by t-test (P<0.05).ConclusionRen meridian-allocating and Du meridian-dredging acupuncture can treat sensorineural deafness has been approved. Ren meridian-allocating and Du meridian-dredging acupuncture can stimulate the microcirculation of inner ear, and promote nerve reparing, and unblock the ears’ meridian and harmonize qi and blood in order to nourish externalacoustic meatus and gradual improvement in listening comprehension. In a word, it was an very effective, simple way that should be promoted in clinical practices.
