Clinical Study On Blood Stasis Syndrome Of Liver Metastasis Of Colorectal Cancer By Activating Blood Circulation To Dissipate Blood Stasis

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Huoxuehuayu Recipe on liver metastasis of colorectal cancer, and to explore the effect and mechanism of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in clinical treatment of liver metastasis of colorectal cancer.Methods:40 patients was diagnosed colorectal cancer with liver metastasis according to the diagnostic criteria and ascribed to blood stasis syndrome according to TCM syndrome differentiation. Patients were divided into 2 groups:patients of control group were treated with FOLFOX chemotherapy only, and the patients of treatment group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine Huoxuehuayu prescription besides FOLFOX chemotherapy treatment. Therapeutic effect was evaluated after one month treatment including KPS score, TCM blood stasis symptom score, platelet count, D2 poly index.Results:①Effect of syndrome differentiation of TCM syndrome of blood stasis:after taking Chinese medicine, the clinical symptoms of the treatment group improved significantly, the total score of syndrome was significantly lower than that of the control group (p< 0.05).②On the score of KPS effect:after treatment, the treatment group improved in 18 cases,2 cases were stable,0 cases were decreased; control group increased in 14 cases, stable in 5 cases, decreased in 1 cases. Two groups patients physical status Karnofsky score of the test, the difference is statistically significant (p< 0.05)③Effect on platelet:after treatment, there was statistical significance in the treatment group (p<0.05).④The influence of D2 dimer:after the treatment, the treatment group blood D2 dimer (p<0.05) had significant improvement.⑤Security detection:the treatment group in before and after treatment of blood routine, blood biochemistry showed no significant change, and did not appear other adverse reactions, indicating a high safety of traditional Chinese medicine of, no significant hematologic toxicity.Conclusion:The treatment of activating blood circulation to remove blood stasis on patients of colorectal cancer with liver metastasis can effectively improve the patient’s blood viscosity, the micro environment, the quality of life and the KPS score without any side effects.
