| Purpose:Purpose:Through the latterly observation of the postoperative clinical effect of ZhiKe GanCao decoction on patients with PELD, it is to verify the feasibility of postoperative effect of ZhiKe GanCao decoction on PELD. It is to provide the solid theoretical basis for the future study on postoperative functional recovery of protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc as well as the relief and prevention of postoperative lumbar vertebrae syndromes, thus giving full play to the unique clinical advantage of traditional Chinese medicines.Methods:38 cases are selected by this study and are divided randomly into two groups, that is, the traditional Chinese medicine intervention group only taking ZhiKe GanCao decoction after postoperative regular treatment (the observation group) and the basic treatment group taking trophic nerve medicines after postoperative regular treatment (the control group). There are 19 cases in the observation group, and 19 in the control group. The observation group contains 14 male patients and 5 female patients at the age of 23-48, and their average age is 32.89 years old. In the control group, there are 13 males and 6 females at the age of 22-44, and their average age is 32.53 years old. Patients with protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc selected by this study have all received the PELD surgical treatment with local anesthesia, and all of them have been treated with postoperative regular care with the provision of a small amount of fluid infusion and trophic nerve. After that, according to the different medical use after operation, patients of the traditional Chinese medicine intervention group (the observation group) take fructus aurantii glycyrrhiza soap after the surgery, and patients of the basic treatment group take regular postoperative recovery exercise only. The follow-up visit is conducted before the treatment,2 weeks,4 weeks and 3 months after the surgery. The VAS grading, JO A grading and ODI grading are carried out for patients of both groups in order to understand their postoperative recovery. The SPSS 20.0 statistical software is used for statistical analysis of collected data. Quantitative data is represented with±s, intergroup comparison is tested with pairing "t", and comparison among groups si tested with groups of "t". x2 is adopted to test the enumeration data.Results:1. Effective follow-up visit at observation points is conducted for the 39 cases selected by this study. There is no significant difference in the age, gender and three items of grading for both groups of patients before the surgery; 2. Through the follow-up visit 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 3 months after surgery, the VAS, JO A and ODI grading is compared at observation points. Through SPSS22.0 statistical software and the use of independent sample t test, it is obtained that P<0.05, indicating the two groups of data is with significant difference. The performance of the traditional Chinese medicine group is superior to that of the control group in terms of relieving the postoperative symptoms and improving functions. In the last time of visit, scores of the traditional Chinese medicine group are also higher than the corresponding control group. Conclusions:According to the statistical analysis of postoperative grading of patients in both groups, it is found that ZhiKe GanCao decoction can play a positive role in relieving the postoperative symptoms of PELD, and no clear side effect or other adverse reaction appears in the whole research process. |
