| Objective:This study is about the clinical effect of the treatment which is for polycystic ovary syndrome with insulin resistance, the treatment of Cangfu Daotan Decoction. To explore the effects of traditional Chinese medicine in treating Polycystic ovary syndrome with insulin resistance and observe its Effect on apolipoprotein B/apolipoprotein A1.Methods:This study collects 60 polycystic ovary syndrome with insulin resistance and divides them into the two group, the treatment group 30 cases, and control group 30 cases. Respectively to Cangfu Daotan Decoction. The comparison group uses metformin. For six months of each therapy, through compared by observed before and after treatment in patients with traditional Chinese medicine symptom, menstrual cycle, body mass index, hormone levels, insulin resistance index, apolipoprotein B/apolipoprotein Aland other indicators, we can know the two groups’different clinical effect.Results:There is no different between two groups in age, menstruation, sex hormone levels, BMI, insulin resistance related indicators, no statistical difference, comparable. Change of menstrual cycle:the treatment group has a higher response rate on shortened inter-menstrual period than the control group(P<0.05).Change of BMI:After treatment, BMI of two groups were significantly decreased, the treatment group can do more than the control group (P<0.05).Change of hormone levels:After treatment, serum LH, LH/FSH levels of the two groups were significantly decreased (P<0.05). About the function of decreasing LH. The treatment group can do more than the control group (P<0.05).Improvement of insulin resistance:After treatment, serum FINS, HOMA-IR,ApoB/ApoAl levels of the two groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05).General clinic effect:The treatment group’total effective rate was 86%, while the control group total effective rate was 68%. The general clinic effect of the treatment group was better than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of Cangfu Daotan Decoction, is more effective for polycystic ovary syndrome with insulin resistance, deficiency. It can decrease BMI, shorten inter-menstrual period, improve insulin resistance, decrease serum LH and ApoB/ApoAl levels. The treatment group’effect was better than the effect of using westem medicine. |
