Starting from a small dose of medication,risperidone orally disintegrating tablet therapeutic amount of 1mg / d began to gradually increase to 5 ~ 8mg / d. In the 28 days before taking the medication and EEG were all time. Evaluation of the efficacy of a subject with the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale(BPRS).Results: Patients taking risperidone before treatment BPRS scale divided into(81.79 ± 6.55) points, the treatment is 4 weeks(39.73 ± 5.83) points, the reduced rate of greater than 50% of the assessment scores before and after treatment BPRS t test, the difference was significant(t = 22.276,P <0.00).According BPRS total score reduction rate criterion and clinical efficacy of treatment 4 weeks clinical cure rate was 42.34%, the effective rate was 75.56%.Display control risperidone patients with psychiatric symptoms is effective.Risperidone 4 weeks 51 patients, 19 patients showed abnormal abnormal was 37%(19/51). Abnormal EEG abnormalities mostly mild(15 cases), a few moderately abnormal(four cases), there is no severe abnormalities. More performance for the α-wave abnormalities moderator, α wave amplitude decreased, an increase in sporadic waves of θ, but no significant change in focal, and also no abnormal waveform epileptiform activity.The subjects before and after medication α-band absolute power value comparison: Before the band absolute power value α treatment F4,T3,T4,O2 is lower than after treatment, after F3,O1 higher than treatment, but the difference was not statistically significant,P> 0.05. The subjects before and after medication β band absolute power value comparison: β band before the absolute power level below the F3 treatment after treatment,F4,T3,T4,O1,O2 higher than after treatment,but the difference was not statistically significant,P> 0.05. δ band power absolute value in F3,F4, T3, T4, O1, O2 before electric power value than taking medication increased,but the difference was not statistically significant, p> 0.05, the subjects before and after medication θ band absolute power value comparison: after taking risperidone four weeks after four kinds of wave power value of the absolute value of the electric power wave in all leads were higher than before the medication, the difference was statistically significant,(p <0.05).Conclusion:Risperidone impacts the EEG of schizophrenia,however, the impact is not great.It can be used as the drug of choice for treating schizophrenia.
