The Clinical Observation Of Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction In Preventing Patients With Spinal Fracture Surgery From Lower Extremity Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT)

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical curative effect of Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction in preventing patients with spinal fracture surgery from lower extremity deep venous thrombosis (DVT), providing clinical basis for the prevention of deep venous thrombosis of lower limb with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods60 patients in Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2015 to January 2016, who diagnosed with spinal fractures after surgery, using a random number table with envelope method, were randomly divided into Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction group (20 cases), low molecular weight heparin group (20 cases) and Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction Combined with low molecular weight heparin group (20 cases). Before and after the treatment, the coagulation indexes, plasma D-2 poly body and blood rheological study, double lower limbs Doppler ultrasound and related safety indicators were respectively observed and statistical analized, and objectively evaluated the Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction effect on preventing spinal fractures of postoperative lower extremity deep vein thrombosis and to explain its mechanism.Results1、Three groups of patients with postoperative after 2 days, prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and thrombin time (TT) were significantly prolonged, the same change trend, most index difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); Fibrinogen (FIB) showed a downward trend. The test group and control group 1 each index rise or decline is roughly consistent, the control group 2 PT, APTT, TT increased and FIB decreased significantly better than that of the test group and control group 1 (P<0.05).2、D-2 dimer level had obvious rise 2 days after operation (P<0.05), postoperative day 7 significantly decreased (P<0.05), and the control group 2 compared to other group decreased more significantly (P<0.05).3、Postoperative day 2, three groups of patients with most of the blood rheological index than before operation were increased, and whole blood low shear viscosity, whole blood high shear viscosity, plasma viscosity, erythrocyte deposited, erythrocyte aggregation index, blood sedimentation compared with preoperative had a significant differences (P<0.05 or P<0.01).4、There was no significant difference between the three groups in the postoperative lower limb venous thrombosis.5、The three groups of patients before and after treatment VAS score comparison, the test group and the control group 2 better than the control group 1 (P<0.05).6、24 hours after the surgery, the incision drainage of the test group was better than that of the control group 1 and control group 2 (P<0.01), and the platelet count (PLT) statistical results suggested that the three groups had no significant difference (P>0.05).ConclusionFuyuan Huoxue Decoction is an effective traditional Chinese medicine syndromes of clinical prevention and treatment of DVT, which can effectively improve high blood coagulation state in patients with spinal fracture, reduce viscosity, prevent the formation of deep vein thrombosis. Compared to the simple use of low molecular weight heparin calcium Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction has small bleeding risk, more safe and reliable, at the same time, Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction can improve patients with pain in the waist and back, the effect is obvious. According to the clinical evaluation of the blood viscosity of patients, so as to select single Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction or Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction Combined with low molecular weight heparin to prevent and treat DVT.
