Clinical Observation On The Treatment With Modified "Qingxuanjiangya Decoction" Of The Patients Who Were Diagnosed As Hyperactivity Of Yang Due To Yin Deficiency Pattern And Elderly Isolated Systolic Hypertension

Objective:The purpose of this observed investigation is to observe the therapeutic effects of traditional Chinese medicine step-down, This kind of traditional Chinese medicine name is Modified "qingxuanjiangya decoction". Experimental group was patients with elderly isolated systolic hypertension, For this study, we want to know the effect of the traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:From the community medical institutions, we selected 70 cases of elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension. These patients were diagnosed as hyperactivity of Yang due to Yin deficiency pattern. They are using AmlodipineBesylateTablets (Norvasc) 5mg qd, but their blood pressure is still not down to the standard. These patients were randomly divided into 2 groups,35 patients each, one group called "liquid form treatment group", another group called "contrast treatment group". All the patients continue to use AmlodipineBesylateTablets (Norvasc) 5mg qd, We use Modified " qingxuanjiangya decoction " treatment one group of patients and "QiangliDingxuanPian" to another, After four weeks of treatment, Spss17.0 is used to analyze the statistic of the data after the end the trial. Two groups of patients are compared the treatment effect in antihypertensive effect, Chinese medicine syndromes, the improvement of vertigo syndrome.Results:1.General study population data analysis:Effectiveness of cases met the inclusion criteria and 67 patients completed the study, "liquid form treatment group" 34 cases, 33 cases in "contrast treatment group". The two groups in gender, age, distribution of blood pressure, distribution statistical test P>0.05, no significant differences were comparable.2. Analysis of vertigo syndromes:Modified "qingxuanjiangya decoction " improves the symptoms of dizziness of patients who were diagnosed as hyperactivity of Yang due to Yin deficiency pattern and elderly isolated systolic hypertension. Compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).3. The scores for TCM syndromes and analysis:Patients who were diagnosed as hyperactivity of Yang due to Yin deficiency pattern and elderly isolated systolic hypertension were treat by Modified "qingxuanjiangya decoction ", The improvement of syndrome of treatment group are significantly above the control, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).4. Lowering blood pressure analysis:Patients who were diagnosed as hyperactivity of Yang due to Yin deficiency pattern and elderly isolated systolic hypertension were treat by Modified "qingxuanjiangya decoction " and AmlodipineBesylateTablets (Norvasc) 5mg qd, The improvement of syndrome of treatment group are significantly above the control, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).5. Security Analysis:Patients who were diagnosed as hyperactivity of Yang due to Yin deficiency pattern and elderly isolated systolic hypertension were treat by Modifie"qingxuanjiangya decoction " and AmlodipineBesylateTablets (Norvasc) 5mg qd. There was no obvious adverse reaction during the observation period of four weeks.Conclusion:Patients who were diagnosed as hyperactivity of Yang due to Yin deficiency pattern and elderly isolated systolic hypertension were treat by Modified "qingxuanjiangya decoction " and AmlodipineBesylateTablets (Norvasc) 5mg qd. The treatment is safe and effective and can play a stable role in lowering blood pressure. At the same time, it can also improve the syndrome and relieve vertigo.
