Objective:Study on radial deviation reduction and closed pinning fixation for the trea tment of children with GartlandⅢ supracondylar fractures humerus, find the best positi on of radial deviation, and explore the relationship between the radial deviation and ra dial deviation angle.Methods:64 cases that consistent with instituted internalize standard from March 2014 to June2015 were analysed and divided into three groups according to different radial deviation of the total cross diameter percentage of distal humerus difference, group A (19):5%~10%, groupB(24):11%~15%, groupC (20):16%~20%。 There is no compa ratively obvious difference between three groups concerning about gender, age and loc ational distribution of fracture. The around changes of each group’s Baumann angle aft er reduction, disbanding the internal and external fixation, as well as the incidence of Cubitus varus and Cubitus valgus were compared and analysed in order to evaluate th e clinical curative effect of treatment of Gartland; supracondylar fracture of the hum erus in children using radial deviation reduction and closed pinning fixation for findin g the best position of radial deviation. The radial deviation angle of the three group s were measured, Linear correlation analysis was performed between the three group s of radial deviation and the radial deviation angle, find the relation between the radi al deviation and the radial deviation angle. Results:All the 64 cases were completely healed, without the complication of malunio n, Volkmann’s contracture, myositis ossificans and severe vascular and neurological in jury. GroupA:the incidence of cubitus varus is 10.52%, no cubitus valgus occurred;G roupB:cubitus varus and cubitus valgus were not occurred; GroupC:the incidence of cubitus valgus is 9.52%, no cubitus varus occurred. The difference is significant(anal yzed statistically P<0.05). The average value of Baumann angle of group A was 74.16 ±2.588after reduction,76.11±3.665after disbanding the internal and external fixation; t he average value of Baumann angle of group B was73.04±2.562 after reduction,74.50 ±2.766 after disbanding the internal and external fixation, the average value of Bauma nn angle of groupC was 68.71±2.813after reduction,70.24±3.618after disbanding the i nternal and external fixation. Comparing the around changes of each group’s Baumann angleafter reduction, disbanding the internal and external fixation, there is no signific ant difference(analyzed statistically P>0.05). The linear correlation analysis of 64 cases of radial deviation and radial deviation angle, the result dicates that the radial deviation and radial deviation angle were positively correlated.Conclusion:(1) The treatment of radial deviation reduction and closed pinning fixati on which combin the traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment curative effe ct is reliable. The best position of radial deviation is 11%~15%, less than 11% occur red cubitus varus easily, more than 15% prone to cubitus valgus.(2) The radial deviation and radial deviation angle is positive correlation which the radial deviation is greater, the greater radial deviation angle.
