| Objective:This study through the detection of breast cancer new auxiliary chemotherapy patients into fibroblast activation protein alpha (FAP-a) and matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) expression in breast cancer tissue sections, preliminary study of FAP-a and MMP-1 in breast cancer development and its clinical significance.Methods:Into the 56 cases of breast cancer neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with, by immunohistochemical staining method to detect breast cancer tissue in FAP-a, MMP-1 protein expression level and expression of negative group and positive group patients of FAP-a, MMP-1 neoadjuvant chemotherapy and compared between the two groups new auxiliary difference in curative effect of chemotherapy and prognosis.Results:Before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, the positive expression rates of FAP-a and MMP-1 in breast cancer tissues were significantly different (P<0.05). At the same time, the effect and prognosis of FAP-a and MMP-1 expression after neoadjuvant chemotherapy were better than that in the positive group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Before and after chemotherapy, the expression intensity of FAP-a and MMP-1 was positively correlated with the expression of, r= 0.452, P=0.000, r=0.403, P=0.002, and after chemotherapy.Besides, the high expression of FAP-and MMP-1 was associated with lymph node metastasis, Her-2 overexpression and Ki-67 high proliferation.Conclusion:Neoadjuvant chemotherapy can reduce the expression levels of MMP-1 and FAP-a protein in breast cancer tissues, FAP-a and MMP-1 protein may be used as predictive indicators for the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer.FAP-a and MMP-1 have positive correlation, suggesting that the two may have synergistic effect in promoting tumor growth, invasion, metastasis and so on. At the same time, the high expression of FAP-a and MMP-1 protein in axillary lymph node metastasis, Her-2 overexpression and Ki-67 high proliferation related to the clinical judgment of the disease has a certain significance. |
