An Empirical Study Of Hospital Information System And Its Impact On Patients’ Satisfaction

With further development of hospital digital construction, the status of information technology in hospitals is gradually increasing and the hospital information construction has become the inevitable trend of social choice in modern era. The acceptance of hospital information system technology by patients impacts the medical information system directly and the patients’ degree of satisfaction indirectly. In order to better promote the development of hospital information system, use of information technology brings a better medical service experience for the patient, enhance patient satisfaction, and ease the doctor-patient relationship. The current study is aimed at studying the hospital information system and the mechanism of patients’ degree of satisfaction from patient’s point of view.Firstly, based on the analysis of the present situation of hospital information system and its impact on patients’ degree of satisfaction, on the basis of reasoned action and planned theory, and based on the technology acceptance model and Expectation Confirmation Theory, this paper has used adoption and post adoption behavior of hospital information system as continuance for the first time. Combining the theory of satisfaction, and trust-risk, the model of hospital information system and its impact on patients’ degree of satisfaction has been constructed.Secondly, according to the model, a questionnaire has been designed for understudy variables and collected the data for empirical analysis. The results of study show:(1) the technology acceptance model and Expectation Confirmation Theory in hospital information system, importantly continue to use the procedure remains applicable; (2) confirmed the perceived reliability impact on system continues to use; (3) education level of patients has a certain role in the regulation of hospital information system and its impact on patients’ degree of satisfaction (4) hospital information system plays a significant role to improve the patients’ satisfaction.Finally, based on the findings, present relevant opinions and suggestions conducive to better improve patient hospital information system continued use willingness to help hospitals enhance patient satisfaction from the point of view of information, ease the tension between doctors and patients.
